This is truly hard to predict - but why book a safari that does not visit the areas that give the best opportunity during the time of year you are traveling? Born Free has designed our safaris to change during seasons. If our chart confuses you – or you need clarification on the exact itinerary – do not hesitate to contact our office.

The wildlife moves throughout the year to different areas. One cannot always predict exactly where the vast herds will be, but through the years we have learned to gear travelers to areas that would most likely be great for viewing the herds. The Serengeti south is great in December - March, but during the remainder of the year the game is dispersed. Tarangire is great between July - November, but during the rest of the year we would suggest time spent in other areas.
