Day 6-7 - Okavango Delta
Fly over the Okavango on a low-level flight which offers wonderful opportunity for aerial photography. The Okavango is the jewel in Botswana's crown. This unique freshwater system is born from the waters that flow down from the highlands and die in the sands of the Kalahari to create the world's largest inland delta. This seasonally flooded area consists of marshes and lagoons, dry woodlands and grassy savannas. Discover the mystical maze of the reed waterways by
mokoro canoes. At dusk, set out with your guide to view the sunset over the delta.
Pom Pom Camp/Kanana (B-L-D)
Day 8-9 - Chobe National Park
After a delicious breakfast, fly to Chobe, considered by some to be one of the last great refuges for the African elephant. It has been reported that over 35,000 elephants inhabit this area. Chobe has a great variety of habitats, ranging from verdant flood grassland and thickets beside the Chobe River, to forest, mopane woodland and scrub. Game viewing is done in open safari vehicles and by boat.
