THE
SEYCHELLES
Located 1000 miles off the Kenya Coast, this archipelago of coral and granite islands is a tropical paradise. Beautiful beaches, rare birdlife and unusual plant life make these beautiful, remote islands a great compliment to any tour.
Day
1-2 - Mahe
Arrive in Mahe, largest of the Seychelles islands. Overnight.
Fisherman's Lodge
Day
3-5 - Praslin
Morning transfers to Praslin Island, a lush tropical paradise
with huge granite boulders, ancient palms, wild spices and the unusual
botanical wonders of Valee de Mai. An excursion to Cousin Island
to see the rare tropical birds is available upon request.
La Reserve (BD)
Day
6-8 - La Digue
Just a 30 minute boat ride from Praslin, this unspoiled island
uses ox-carts as the main mode of transportation. Snorkeling, glass

a wonderful stop in this island paradise.
La Digue Lodge (BD)

May we suggest any of the rest of the exotic Jewels of the Indian

MADAGASCAR
The
forth largest island in the world, Madagascar lies off the coast
of Mozambique. It is an exotic and forgotten world offering it's
visitors unique sightseeing options including: endemic flora and
fauna, primeval rainforests, abounding culture and lovely coastal
retreats. Madagascar is probably best known as the home to the rare
and endangered lemurs, including Catta (ring-tailed) and Indiri,
the largest of the lemur family. Born Free's experienced staff can
hand-tailor a journey of a lifetime to this intriguing island. Itineraries
are made to fit our clients interests, schedule and budget. We suggest
a minimum stay of seven days. Please contact our office for sample
itineraries and prices.

LAMU
Lamu lies north of Mombasa on the Kenya Coast. The island has not changed in the last century except for a few modern conveniences. There is a charming Afro-Arab village with beautiful beaches and numerous water sports can be arranged from the hotel. A 2-3 night stay is suggested at romantic Peponi's Hotel, or for those looking for a remote island getaway, Kiwayu Island.

MOMBASA
With
a population of over 600,000, this is Kenya's second largest city.
307 miles from Nairobi, this paradise is known for it's harbors,
old towns, great Swahili food and just north & south of the
town, the white sand beaches of Nyali, Mombasa, Kenyatta, Shanzu
and Diani. Sailing, wind-surfing, water-skiing, scuba-diving and
snorkeling are all available just off Mombasa's beautiful coral
reefs.

ZANZIBAR,
PEMBA & MNEMBA ISLANDS
Extend
your stay in Africa by a few nights to visit these tropical islands
located off the coast of Tanzania. They have an exciting history
and romantic atmosphere. Wander through narrow winding street lined
with white washed buildings and experience the sights, sounds and exotic
smells of the spices in the area. In Zanzibar we can arrange for
a guided walking tour of Stone Town, the Spice Plantation or Jozani
Forest, inhabited by the colobus monkeys. You may want to spend
your time enjoying the beautiful beaches and water sports. Three
nights are suggested.
