Day 5 - Central Highlands & Mt. Kenya
Set out this morning for Ol Pejeta, a private 110,000-acre ranch. The property is a sanctuary for Jane Goodall's chimps and the endangered rhino. The area is also inhabited by zebra, giraffe and elephant. The camp has well appointed tents built on platforms with proper bathroom facilities en suite. From each tent you can sit and watch the wildlife from the veranda. In the evening, you may take an optional
exciting night drive to view the nocturnal wildlife.
Sweetwaters Tented Camp
Day 6-7 - Samburu Game Reserve
Cross over the Equator and continue to the rugged, semidesert Northern Frontier District. While game viewing, your guide will search for the elusive leopards and species exclusive to the northern district such as the Grevy's zebra, the Somlai ostrich and the reticulated giraffe. An optional visit to a traditional Samburu village can be arranged.

Day 8 -
Lake Nakuru National Park
Head south, traveling south across the Equator to Lake Nakuru National
Park, world famous for its stunning flocks of lesser flamingo which literally turn its shores pink.
The park spans an attractive range of wooded and bush grassland around the lake, offering wide ecological diversity, from Lake Water, woodland to the rocky escarpment and ridges.
Notable game within the lake includes hippo and clawless otters. On the shores roam waterbuck, Bohor’s Reedbuck and Zebra. The woodlands and forest are now home to both black and white rhino.
Tonight you spend the evening at the Lion Hill Lodge. Lion Hill Lodge
Day 9-11 - Masai Mara Game Reserve / Visit with the Masai
Board your vehicle to the airport for a flight that will take you over the Great Rift Valley and the Masai Mara Reserve. This area offers unsurpassed game viewing. Over the next two days you will venture out on game drives to experience the beauty of the golden plains, spotted with incredible wildlife.
The gently rolling savannah and rivers prove the perfect terrain to see a wealth of wildlife, including elephants, lion, zebra, giraffe, waterbuck and cheetah.
