Day 1 - NAIROBI, KENYA
Upon arrival in Nairobi, there will be a local representative to meet you and provide a transfer to the hotel for check-in & overnight.

Day 2 - SHELDRICK WILDLIFE ORPHANGE - GIRAFFE CENTER
After a safari briefing, a full day of wildlife experiences including the Daphne Sheldrick Wildlife Foundation and it's baby rhinos and elephants. The Karen Blixen Museum of "Out of Africa" fame at the foot of the Ngong Hills is a wonderful bit of history and culture not to be missed. You will also visit African Fund for Endangered Wildlife / Giraffe Center where you will have the opportunity to hand feed the giraffe's. This evening a special dinner awaits at the Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 3-4 - AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK - MT. KILIMANJARO
This morning, a short flight to the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Amboseli Park. Upon arrival and on your way to the lodge - the professional guide will take you on a short game drive. You will have the opportunity to see cheetah, zebra, herds of elephant and numerous other plains game. Game drives in the morning and afternoon in the shadows of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Day 5-6 - SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
After breakfast you will be taken to the airstrip for a connecting flight to Samburu. Upon arrival in the late morning, you are met by the Samburu guides and taken to the lodge for lunch. This afternoon head out on a game drive returning before the sunsets.

Samburu is known for several species of animals not found in the southern parks. Your driver will be scouting for the Reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, 'Somali' ostrich, Beisa oryx, the graceful long-neck gerenuk. In addition, the areas offers excellent opportunity to see the elusive leopard.

The following day, awake early for a game drive. Return to the lodge for lunch and then out again this afternoon.

Day 7 - ABERDARES - TREE HOTEL
Leave after breakfast and drive south and into the forest of the Aberdare Mountains range arriving at Outspan Country Club for lunch. Then board a shuttle bus that takes you on a short drive to the unique tree hotel. The lodge is set in a forest glade with a waterhole that attracts wildlife during the day. At night the waterhole is floodlit and there is an underground viewing platform.

Day 8 - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will proceed to Lake Nakuru, the ornithologist's dream comes true. This magical lake is home to sometimes over a million pink guests - the greater and lesser flamingos - as well as nearly 500 other species of bird. Primarily a bird sanctuary, the 202 sq. km. park is also a black rhino sanctuary. Reed buck, hippo, leopard, waterbuck and giraffe can also be seen here. This park boasts the greatest concentration of leopard in Kenya.

Day 9-10 - MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast you will be on your way to the world famous Masai Mara. Descend down into the Great Rift Valley to the town of Narok, the headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Continue across the plains whiles keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle.

The Masai Reserve is one of the world's greatest wildlife habitats featuring giraffe, ostrich, waterbuck, bushbuck, countless gazelles and antelopes, zebra, wildebeest and over 400 species of bird. This is also home to the famous "Big Five": lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. This afternoon you will be taken on a game drive.

The following day, an early morning game drive - one of the best times to see the game. On your last day in the bush - try to find any of the species that you might not have seen on this great safari. Your guide will always do his best to find you that elusive species.

Day 11 - YOUR JOURNEY ONWARDS
After a hearty breakfast, you will be escorted to the airstrip for the scheduled charter flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel where you will have a day room. This evening you will be transferred to the airport in time to check in for your onward international flight.
