1 - NAIROBI
Upon arrival you will be met by a Born Free representative and escorted to your hotel.

2-3 - AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK - MT. KILIMANJARO
After a buffet breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Amboseli National Park. The majestic snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro's 19,352 foot peak dominates the area and makes a great photographic background. There is a booming elephant population as well as other plains game. There will be a morning and afternoon game drive. The next day, you're up just before dawn with a fresh cup of tea or coffee, and then off on an early morning game drive, the best time to see the majestic peak of Kilimanjaro. You'll then return back to the lodge for a delicious breakfast before additional game drives throughout the day.

4-5 - SWEETWATERS GAME SANCTUARY
After breakfast in Amboseli, drive north stopping in Nairobi for a visit to AFEW (Giraffe Center) and the Karen Blixen Museum. Following lunch, continue North with your guide to Sweetwaters.
Sweetwaters is a private 110,000 acre ranch and sanctuary for Jane Goodall's chimps and the endangered rhino. This area is also inhabited by zebra, giraffe and elephant. Sweetwaters tented camp will be our base for explorations. Have a taste of the old Africa but with all the conveniences of a hotel. This property features well appointed tents built on platforms with proper bathroom facilities en suite. Watch from your private verandah as the wildlife visits the waterhole. Evening brings an opportunity for optional night game viewing.

6-7 - SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
Cross over the Equator and continue to the rugged, semi-desert Northern Frontier District. While game viewing, your guide will search for the elusive leopards and species exclusive to the northern district such as the Grevy's zebra, the Somali ostrich and the reticulated giraffe. An optional visit to a traditional Samburu village can be arranged.

8-9 - MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After an early breakfast, drive to the local airstrip, where you will connect to your flight to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Fly over the Great Rift Valley to the Mara Reserve, offering unsurpassed game viewing. In one sweep of binoculars you can see a hundred elephants, lion, impala, zebra, and wildebeest. The plains are gold, and the silhouettes of elephant, giraffe, and lion can be seen. Become a part of the life in the Mara - birth, feeding, death and life, an incredible experience that you will never forget.
The Masai Mara is regarded as the most favorite and is definitely the most popular game reserve in Kenya, having over 140,000 visitors per year. The reserve lays approximately 270km west of Nairobi and covers an area of approximately 1,510 sq km, bordering with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The landscape is mostly open Savannah grasslands and acacia scrubland. At certain times of the year you will see a large number of lion, hippo, crocodile and vultures all of which prey on the weak and young migrating animals. Other game to be found in the Masai Mara at any time of the year include; elephants, cheetahs, baboons, gazelles, giraffes, jackals, leopards, hyenas, water buffalo, ostriches, and a large variety of antelope and bird life. Morning and afternoon game drives.
