of the Tanzania Discoveries may be taken as extensions
to the Kenya Discovery or on their own. Group and private
safaris are available. On private safaris you may select
your preference of tented camps and lodges.

Tanzania Discovery (Option 1)
July-October 15th: To optimize game viewing, Tarangire National Park is substituted for Serengeti National Park.
Day 1 - Arrival Tanzania
Today's plans will depend on your arrival time.
Mountain Village Lodge (D)
Day 2 - Lake Manyara Park
Manyara is located just below the Great Rift Valley Wall. The highlight of the park's wildlife is the hippo population, tree climbing lions and the pink flamingos.
Manyara Hotel (B-L-D)
Day 3-4 - Serengeti National Park
Continue to the Serengeti, the most spectacular gathering of wildlife in the world. Game drives in the morning and afternoon.
Sopa Lodge (B-L-D)
Day 5 - Olduvai Gorge / Ngorongoro Crater
Game drive en route to Olduvai Gorge where you will visit the small museum. Continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for overnight on the rim of the crater.

Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater
Descend 2,000 feet on to the floor of the Crater in 4 x 4 vehicles. Rare rhino, black mane lion, elephants, lions and Cape buffalo inhabit the area. Full day game drive.

Day 7 - Arusha
After breakfast, head back to Arusha for your onward arrangements.

Day 1 -
Arusha, Tanzania
Arrival in Arusha and transfer to your lodge.
Mountain Village Lodge (B-L-D)
Day 2 - Ngorongoro Highlands / Visit Masai Village
Depart to the Ngorongoro Highlands where you will visit a traditional Masai village. Overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Sopa Lodge (B-L-D)
Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater/ Lake Manyara Park
Game viewing in 4 x 4 vehicles on the floor of the Crater. Picnic lunch. Return to the rim of the carter and continue to Lake Manyara for overnight.
Manyara Hotel (B-L-D)
Day 4 - Lake Manyara Park / Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in Manyara, a small but interesting park consisting of five different vegetation zones. The highlight of the park's wildlife are the hippos, tree climbing lions, baboons and the migrating pink flamingos. Have a picnic lunch and then drive back to Arusha for your onward arrangements.
