Day 1 - Arusha
Arrive in Tanzania, where you are met and escorted to a lovely Lodge.

Day 2-3 - Lake Manyara
After breakfast board your morning flight to Lake Manyara. Meet your professional safari guide and board your 4-wheel drive vehicle. Head into the African bush to begin your adventure. Inhabitants of Manyara include hippos, monkeys, flamingos, and other incredible bird life. It is also the home of tree-climbing lions.

Day 4 - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive through the beautiful Tanzania countryside to the Ngorongoro Crater. The Crater covers over one hundred square miles of terrain and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, cheetah and great herds of Cape buffalo, antelope and wildebeest. Perched on the edge of the ancient crater rim above the swirling mists, Crater Lodge is an architectural masterpiece. Rondovels are filled with graceful antiques, grand chandeliers and hand carved four poster beds. Game viewing activities and a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

Day 5-7 - Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti contains millions of animals within four habitats: Open plains in the south, savannah and scattered acacia woodlands in the center, wooded grasslands in the north and extensive woodlands with black clay plains in the west. Morning and afternoon game drives in 4x4 safari vehicles over the next 4 days. Accommodations change due to the seasonal movement of the migrating wildlife.

May-July
Grumeti River Camp is located in the western corridor of the Serengeti, amid a picturesque valley. Ten luxurious tents with en suite bathrooms are lined up along the banks of the river and hippo pools. The romance of Africa is alive at Grumeti.

August-November
Some 24,700 acres of game-rich north eastern Serengeti is set aside, as a private concession for the exclusive use of Klein's guests. Day and night game drives in open 4x4 Safari cruisers are led on and off road, as are interpretive bush-walks. Klein's is comprised of eight intimate cottages, made of local rock and thatch with classic interiors. Breathtaking views of the valley along the migratory route of the wildebeest, zebra and elephant.

Day 8 - Departure
After breakfast and an early morning game drive, fly back to Arusha for a farewell dinner this evening before boarding your flight home.

Day 9 - Arrival USA
Connect in Amsterdam to your KLM/Northwest flight headed home.
