Day 1 - ARUSHA, TANZANIA
Upon arrival in Arusha, you are welcomed at the airport and escorted to your lodge cradled in the countries largest coffee plantation.

Day 2-3 - LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast board your morning flight to the Manyara airstrip. Meet your professional safari guide and board your 4-wheel drive vehicle. Head into the African bush to begin your adventure. Inhabitants of Manyara include hippos, monkeys, flamingos, and other incredible bird life. It is also the home of tree-climbing lions. The lodge lies approximately 2 hours from the airstrip. Two nights are spent in the area. Accommodations are in tree houses nestled in the boughs of mahogany trees with en-suite bath and wonderful private outdoor shower. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered each day.

Day 4 - KARATU
Begin the day with a steaming hot cup of fresh coffee (or tea) served to you in your private cottage, followed by breakfast and an early morning game drive. Then drive through the beautiful Tanzania countryside – stopping as you wish at local handicraft stands and villages. Arrive at Gibb's Farm in time for a wonderful lunch prepared from produce grown on the property. Gibb's is located between Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater being an ideal place to break your journey. Coffee is grown, processed and roasted on the Farm and the 10-acre garden provides 90% of the ingredients needed for the meals that are served. There is time for a walk to the small waterfall and tour of the coffee plantation.

Day 5 - NGORONGORO CRATER
Early breakfast and then you are off to the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 45 minutes and 2000 feet down to the floor of the Crater for an exciting days game viewing. The Crater covers over one hundred square miles of terrain and is the home of the rare black rhino, prides of lion, elephant, pink flamingoes and great herds of Cape buffalo, and antelope.
Perched on the edge of the ancient crater rim above the swirling mists, Crater Lodge is an architectural masterpiece. Your sumptuous suite is filled with graceful antiques, grand chandeliers and hand carved four poster beds – and the most fabulous bathroom facilities you will ever see! Game viewing activities and a picnic lunch on the crater floor. Massages are available on request.

Day 6-8 - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Do not miss the sun rise over the Crater rim – it is a site to behold. Today fly to the Serengeti, the world’s premium game viewing park. The park contains millions of animals within four habitats: Open plains in the south, savannah and scattered acacia woodlands in the center, wooded grasslands in the north and extensive woodlands with black clay plains in the west. Inhabitants include wildebeest and zebra, great prides of lion, magnificent cheetah, large herds of elephant and thousands of other species. Morning and afternoon game drives in 4x4 safari vehicles over the next three days. Accommodations change due to the seasonal movement of the migrating wildlife.
May-July
Grumeti River Camp is located in the western corridor of the Serengeti, amid a picturesque valley. Ten luxurious tents with en suite bathrooms are lined up along the banks of the river and hippo pools. The romance of Africa is alive at Grumeti.

August-November
Klein's Camp is located on 24,700 acres of game-rich north eastern Serengeti and is set aside as a private concession for the exclusive use of Klein's guests. Day and night game drives in open 4x4 Safari cruisers are led on and off road, as are interpretive bush-walks. Klein's is comprised of eight intimate cottages, made of local rock and thatch with classic interiors. Breathtaking views of the valley along the migratory route of the wildebeest, zebra and elephant.

Day 9 - YOUR JOURNEY ONWARDS
After breakfast and an early morning game drive, fly back to Arusha for a farewell dinner this evening before boarding your onward international flight.
